GELSON S14 SPRAY POLYESTER BASECOAT 2,5 LT

Description

The S14 is a two-component spray filler primer for car, truck,
buses and industrial vehicles.
It is used as a filler for very uneven surfaces and deep sanding marks.
Compared to conventional systems, it offers the advantage of speed and good sanding in time
short, without the occurrence of drops and absorptions.
Excellent adhesion to various substrates and good anti-rust properties.
Applicable on:
 Bare sheet well degreased and sanded
 Galvanized sheet after application of the Z41 / 42 epoxy primer
 Old finishes / primers, sanded and degreased
 Fiberglass
 Wood agglomerates
 Machine bases in cast iron or cast steel, after careful brushing to remove any
trace of earth from the forms of melting or calamine
 Cast or molded aluminum, after having carefully degreased and roughened it.
Any cariolature on molten aluminum, which is evident after an abundant first coat of S14,
they can be eliminated by channeling a little product into the cariolatura itself and then leveling
with the finishing spray coat.

FEATURES:
Density: 1.45 g / cm3 ± 0.02

APPLICATION:
Spray gun with gravity tank, nozzle 2-2.5 mm, pressure 3 – 4 atm.
Do not apply below 5 ° C. The final mechanical characteristics vary depending on the
temperature at which you worked.
Given the good verticability, with 2 or 3 coats, with a few minutes intervals, they can
reach thicknesses from 100 to 500 microns and more.
Can be diluted up to 5% with the appropriate thinner (Diluente Unico SP21 sold separately).
Nitro or other type of thinner must not be used.
Do not apply on washprimers or washfillers.

MIX PREPARATION:
Catalyze at 2% with the special liquid hardener

POT-LIFE:
At 20 ° C (mass of 200 grams): 25 ± 5 minutes

OPTIMUM SANDING TIME:
3 – 4 hours at 20 ° C
30 ‘at 60 ° C
IR: 8 – 10 ‘at 70/80 cm
